About the role
THE ROLE Field Education Trainer (FET) Field Education Trainer is a unique role that supports and helps growing salon business through directed Education and the Go-to-Market strategies of Wella Professionals, a division of the Wella Company. This role will be assigned to support a designated geographical territory.
Job Responsibility:
- Conduct education seminars, salon education plans (JEP’s), salon visits, area events and shows as directed by the Regional Education Manager, Sales Meetings, Tailor Made Education, Store Visits, Store Seminars, sales prospecting (detailing), support Wella Rewards Salon touch points, deliver virtual education, drive social media to build following
- Lead and ensure success of new initiatives
- Lead trainings and launch new materials to existing and new salon customers, sales partners, and local Brand Educators
- Execute trainings, events and shows
- Ensure success of all major events, activities, and conversions in the assigned geographical area
- Organize, plan, and conduct Education activities and events to generate sales of Wella and all brands associated to the Wella Company
- Collaborate with external partners (All distribution channels- Distributor)
- Build positive working relationships with assigned accounts to ensure growth of Wella and all brands associated to the Wella Company.
- Support and partner with Sales in creating customer loyalty and new customer acquisition
- Participate National / divisional meetings and trainings (Virtual and In Person)
- Handle related duties and assignments as necessary
- Attend national and divisional company meetings to learn about promotions and activities, development of new technical and sales techniques, and new product introductions
- Working days in this role vary based on business needs
Skills Requirement
- Reporting skills – maintain activity reports, expense reports, itineraries, or any other miscellaneous or requested written reports
- Mastery in technical skills – color application, cut/style/finish
- Robust Presentation skills
- Active on Social Media
- Maintain professional and fashionable image
- Ability to energize, engage and enable customers / salons when conducting seminars and trainings
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of salon experience
- Minimum 2 years demonstrating, teaching or presentation experience preferred
- * Must possess valid cosmetology license within the province of residence (if required)
- *Must possess a valid driver’s license/passport and ability to drive and travel long distances for extended periods
- Bilingual in French/English
