Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Project Coordinator, VP Medical and Academic Affairs to join the Clinical Innovation team. Apply today to join our team! As a Project Coordinator, VP Medical and Academic Affairs with Vancouver Coastal Health you will: Be involved with all aspects of assigned strategic projects including project scoping, planning, communications, and partnership engagement. Provide analytical skills in the review, evaluation and maintenance of project documentation, functional components, and reporting of those projects within the VP MAA portfolio. Directly support and align broadly with the Department’s identified priorities and enable proactive, responsive, and timely decision-making and participation across the portfolio. Work with partners at all levels of the organization to achieve project goals and deliverables through effective communication, collaboration, and coordination. Liaise with various internal and external partners, representing the interests of the Department, ensuring that information flows, risks are identified, and response is timely and comprehensive. Work closely with the VPMAA to develop and maintain relationships that are crucial to the integrated, responsive, aligned functioning of the department within VCH. Work alongside senior Departmental leadership to maintain and evaluate department-wide information systems and processes that support the interdependencies across the functions of the department, and support timely, effective, and integrated documentation as well as reporting requirements. Qualifications

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business or Health Administration or relevant health care discipline supplemented by a minimum of three (3) years’ recent, related analysis and planning experience in a large, complex service organization or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

Superior ability to develop trusting, authentic, and high-functioning relationships. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and step into challenges courageously. Systems thinking skills to identify and analyze issues, and design and develop solutions to resolve challenges. Able to work effectively independently, and yet also convene and collaborates as appropriate to the situation; able to discern when to reach out for support, input and direction. Results-oriented, working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, balance work priorities, and resolve problems in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills to function within a complex, diverse, and interdisciplinary environment with a specific the ability to engage and build relationships with the medical staff and senior leadership. Develops and maintains strong relationships with key internal and external partners to promote and enhance services provided with sensitivity to diversity and indigenous lens. Practices the recognition, inclusion and support of all types and aspects of diversity at all stages of engagement, with an understanding of the issues faced by people from equity-deserving groups. Uses initiative, vision, independent thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities to move project work forward to completion. Maintains a high degree of organization and coordination in all project-related aspects, allowing for continuous planning and execution of plans according to timelines. Effectively and accurately responds to the needs of partners and maintains awareness of the impacts of decisions and actions on the organization. Strong verbal and written communication as well as facilitation skills to work effectively in a team setting to achieve consensus, resolve conflict and reach desired outcomes. Maintains a broad knowledge of patient care delivery systems in primary, acute and community settings. Ability to function at the highest level of project coordination. Familiar with project management tools and able to convene groups. Aptitude with current advanced digital tools, visual tools, and spreadsheet applications to prepare reports and presentations as well as design, maintain and automate documentation. Demonstrated commitment to learning and developing professionally. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
