Position Summary
This position provides reception and switchboard support to Administration, Teachers, parents and students on the phone and in person.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

providing reception and switchboard support services
-
supporting clerical and administrative services including photocopying, filing, creating materials or scheduling meetings
-
entering student attendance in PowerSchool
-
supporting the coordination of supply teachers by reviewing daily SmartFind reports
-
providing communication support for families using SchoolZone and providing passwords
-
maintaining school inventory, ordering supplies, and managing the assignment of school keys
-
assisting with school events such as Open House and Career Day supervising students who are writing exams or serving in-school suspensions
Education/Qualifications
-
completion of a post-secondary program in a relevant course of study
-
a minimum of two years of experience, preferably in a school environment
-
ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
-
exceptional customer service orientation
-
excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
-
Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, PowerSchool, SchoolZone
-
fluency in speaking, writing and reading Arabic/Somali First Aid
Rate of Pay
$27.30 - $31.79 per hour
