About the role
The Lester B. Pearson School Board is looking for student supervisors to work in our lunch program. Approximately one hour per day – varies by school. A temporary lay-off occurs during the summer period. Apply to get invited to a screening and find out more information.
Schedule:
1-2 hour per day during the school's lunch hour (varies depending on school schedule)
Nature of the work:
The employee in this class of employment supervises groups of 20-25 students in the school and its buildings during the designated lunch hour to ensure that rules are observed and that students are safe.
Qualifications:
Hold a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority, and have one (1) year of pertinent experience which demonstrates a passion to work with children
AND
Hold a certificate dated no more than three (3) years attesting to the successful completion of:

a standard first aid course of a minimum eight (8)-hour duration;
-
a refresher course of a minimum six (6)-hour duration updating the skills acquired in the course mentioned in subparagraph
