This opportunity... Reporting to the Director of Regional Economic Development, the Fund Administrator is the primary contact for the Economic Development Fund (EDF) and is responsible for its coordination, administration and financial report preparation. The incumbent provides assistance with reviewing and processing applications and/or proposals to funding programs and makes recommendations to the Director and/or Advisors when required.

Essential Qualifications Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the following qualifications.

  • Post-secondary education in office administration, business administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience to administer funding programs, preferably in a government setting.
  • Demonstrated experience performing financial information analysis and report preparation.
  • Experience using a wide variety of computer programs, applications, or software such as computerized financial systems (Quest and Front End Financial), Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint to create tracking systems.
  • Experience providing client service as the point of contact for public and internal inquiries.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, and experience making recommendations to management is an asset.

Additional Information Job Requirements: Some travel within Yukon may be required.
