The Aircraft Detail Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the Aircraft Detail Crew to ensure high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to foster a collaborative team environment and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Aircraft Detail Crew.
  • Foster a cohesive team environment through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of direct reports, offering fair and constructive feedback.
  • Coach team members to ensure consistent quality and adherence to operational standards.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Build and maintain positive rapport/ relationships with airport, vendors, and all other pertinent partners;
  • Oversee inventory usage and notify management of low stock levels.
  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, vacation, and overtime in alignment with budgetary guidelines.
  • Facilitate communication between Aircraft Detail and Operations teams to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Disseminate operational updates and relevant information to staff in a timely manner.
  • Investigate operational delays and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Support incident investigations and contribute to occurrence report documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory procedures.
  • Lead by example, upholding company policies and prioritizing safety at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 5–7 years of experience in aircraft detailing or a related supervisory role.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, train, and retain team members.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and tools.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, be on-call, and perform under pressure.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Professional demeanor and sound decision-making skills.
