Overview:
Scarborough Health Network (SHN) is shaping the future of health care across our three hospitals and eight satellite sites. We are a proud community teaching affiliate hospital of the University of Toronto and a partner to several other academic institutions, committed to training the next generation of health care professionals. SHN is building a centralized Medical Education Office to support undergraduate and postgraduate medical learners while advancing its vision of becoming Canada’s leading community teaching health network. SHN will also play a pivotal role in providing clinical training to the new Scarborough Academy of Medicine opening in 2027.
Position Overview
:The Education Coordinator – Foundations plays an essential role in supporting the operational needs of SHN’s Medical Education Office. Reporting to the Director, Education, and working closely with the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, the Education Coordinator supports learner programming, scheduling, onboarding, and standardized patient-based education across SHN. This position ensures a smooth and high-quality educational experience for pre-clerkship medical students and SHN faculty, while contributing to SHN’s vision of becoming Canada’s leading community teaching health network

required.
