The Role
As a key member of our Technical Services team, you will report to one of our experienced program managers and play a pivotal role in driving project success. We’re seeking a confident and inspiring leader who thrives in dynamic environments and brings a strategic mindset to project execution. You will oversee all phases of project planning and delivery, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, scope, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. Our portfolio includes a diverse mix of initiatives, from early-stage concept development to full-scale implementation, spanning both greenfield developments and brownfield upgrades to existing facilities.
In this role, you will:

Be responsible for the direct hands-on leadership and quality execution of projects to ensure company goals and business objectives are achieved.

Be responsible for the team’s efficiency, productivity and compliance with Cameco and industry standards.
-
Manager internal and external stakeholder relationships, identify and secure resources, report on project status to management, facilitate solutions, manage project risk, and promote a culture consistent with Cameco values.
Required:
-
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field;
-
Five to eight years of combined work experience in progressive project management roles;
-
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
-
Experience with leading studies for greenfield/brownfield projects;
-
Experience with managing detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases;
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships across diverse teams; and
-
Willingness and mobility to travel to northern Saskatchewan facilities to support construction and commissioning activities on-site.
Recommended:
-
A background in civil or environmental disciplines is preferred, particularly with the ability to also support maintenance related projects;
-
PMP certification, trade certification and/or professional engineering designation (or eligibility to obtain); and
-
Experience with reclamation and containment standard projects.
