Forklift Operator – Pitt Meadows – Day shift
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to join our day shift team in Pitt Meadows, 6:00am - 2:30pm. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for Inventory and replenishment, driving forklifts and other mobile devices, staging materials, and ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Permanent Full-Time (40 hours)
Monday to Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
In this role, you will:
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other mobile devices to move materials and products throughout the warehouse. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Helping out with Export, offloading and loading trucks, labelling
- Skid Preparation: breaking down skids and lifting pails of 60lb
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse, including aisles, storage areas, and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and achieve production targets. Communicate effectively to resolve issues and optimize workflow.
You have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Valid forklift certification and/or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to calculate measurements and quantities.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
