About the role
Position Description
The Workshop Facilitator is responsible for planning, coordinating, facilitating, and documenting collaborative workshops that support organizational, business, and technology initiatives. Working closely with project teams, subject matter experts, leaders, and stakeholders, the facilitator guides structured discussions to gather requirements, validate solutions, identify opportunities for improvement, build consensus, and support informed decision making.
The role ensures workshops are well organized, engaging, and outcome driven, resulting in clear actions, decisions, recommendations, and next steps. The Workshop Facilitator fosters productive collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups, helping teams navigate complex topics, align on objectives, and achieve project goals.
This role plays a critical part in enabling effective collaboration, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and driving successful outcomes across projects, programs, and organizational initiatives.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Plan, design, and facilitate workshops, meetings, and working sessions to support project and business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to define workshop goals, agendas, materials, and desired outcomes. Lead discussions that encourage participation, knowledge sharing, problem solving, and consensus building. Elicit, capture, and document requirements, feedback, decisions, risks, and action items. Translate complex concepts into clear and understandable discussions and outputs. Manage diverse perspectives and facilitate constructive dialogue across cross functional teams. Ensure workshop outputs are documented, communicated, and tracked through to completion. Support change initiatives, process improvements, business transformations, and strategic planning activities. Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to promote engagement and alignment. Continuously improve facilitation approaches, tools, and techniques to maximize effectiveness.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Strong workshop facilitation, meeting management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Active listening, questioning, and conflict resolution capabilities. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to synthesize information and drive clarity from complex discussions. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow through. Ability to influence outcomes and foster collaboration in a fast paced environment. Proficiency with collaboration, presentation, and documentation tools.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000–$140,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
