Role As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a key role within the team by handling various day-to-day accounting operations. With your strong organizational skills and attention to detail, you will directly contribute to the quality and efficiency of financial activities. Professional and versatile, you will work closely with the team to support accounting processes, monitor files, and help move operational priorities forward. You will participate in analyses, suggest improvements, and be actively involved in ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities Perform and coordinate follow-up on accounts payable for assigned partners; Prepare grant files, including creating clients as vendors and collecting relevant documents; Extract, build, and compile reports, and analyze them as needed; Perform month-end processes by analyzing revenues and expenses for assigned products; Create customer accounts and prepare invoices; Enter and update pre-authorized payment requests in the system for assigned products; Follow up with customers regarding rejected payments for assigned products; Work closely with the Accounting Assistant for the Heat Pump product line; Collaborate with team members on various accounting tasks. Ideal Requirements College diploma in administration, office technology, or a related field; Minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar roles; Advanced proficiency in Excel and good knowledge of the MS Office suite; Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O module) and GP accounting software (an asset); Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; Ability to communicate and simplify accounting information for clients; Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills; Recognized for quick learning and autonomy; Available Monday to Friday, daytime, full-time (37.5 hours).
