We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Technician to join our Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career in the automotive industry who wants to learn, grow, and become a fully licensed Honda Technician.
Key Responsibilities
As a Honda Apprentice Technician, you will work under the guidance of experienced Journeyman Technicians and Service Advisors to:
- Assist in diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing Honda vehicles to manufacturer standards.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Learn and apply Honda-specific diagnostic tools, repair procedures, and safety protocols.
- Support senior technicians with complex repairs, system diagnostics, and warranty work. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are used properly.
- Document repair work performed and keep accurate records in compliance with dealership and manufacturer requirements. • Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations in the service bay. • Provide excellent customer care by ensuring vehicles are serviced correctly and efficiently
Expectations & Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in an Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program (Red Seal).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in the automotive industry. • Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team. • Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
