432 Health Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager for a community pharmacy in the vibrant Downtown/West End area of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The incumbent will work closely with the management team to ensure standard operating procedures, policies and applicable laws and regulations are followed. Responsibilities
- Pharmacy management
- Dispensing medications
- Filling, preparing, checking and dispensing patient prescriptions
- Administration of vaccines and other injectable medication
- Providing full scope of practice for patient care including medication reviews
- Working collaboratively with patients’ physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive drug therapy outcomes
- Conducting immunization clinics
- Engaging in community outreach programs
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
- Pharmacy inventory maintenance
- Ensuring proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines and other drugs and pharmaceuticals
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Narcotic and controlled drug accountability and maintenance
- All other duties and responsibilities of the pharmacy manager in a community pharmacy setting as set out by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
- Previous pharmacy manager experience (preferred)
- Meet the requirements to be designated pharmacy manager
- Certificate of Injection Administration
- OAT training and experience with OAT
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Superior patient and physician relation skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred)
- Working experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software (preferred)

- Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
- Sat/Sun/Holiday 10am-4pm
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
