About the role
This Senior Advisor position will lead marketing strategies that enhance awareness, engagement, and demonstrate value to both internal and external stakeholders, aligning with organizational priorities and brand direction. The role will provide direct, ongoing support to develop and promote marketing activities, campaigns, and platforms, while collaborating with a dynamic team of marketing professionals focused on delivering integrated strategies and excellent client service. The Senior Advisor will also provide timely marketing advice to ensure effective brand promotion, campaign execution, and audience engagement, while supporting organizational change initiatives. The incumbent will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing projects, coordinating creative services such as design, photography, video, digital, social media, and paid media. This role will proactively strengthen the organization’s reputation by building trust through marketing strategies that highlight Covenant’s impact on patients, residents, families, and communities. As a marketing subject matter expert, you will provide insights on positioning, audience targeting, and performance measurement, supporting campaign-specific storytelling strategies to drive measurable engagement; You will engage with key contacts, including AHS, government, the Covenant Foundation, funders, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment and brand consistency across efforts; Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and apply learnings to their responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity to provide strategic guidance to leadership through analysis, advocacy, and tactical recommendations. This is an onsite and non-union position.

Required Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or related field. Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience planning, implementing, and evaluating marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives, including advising senior leaders and managing significant projects. A combination of a related diploma and a professional designation in marketing, communications, or public relations (such as CMA, IABC, CPRS, or equivalent), with at least eight years of progressive experience in a complex public sector, healthcare, or non-profit environment, would be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience leading brand and marketing initiatives that strengthen awareness, engagement, recruitment, or reputation in complex organizations. Extensive experience in conceptualizing, developing, and executing marketing plans and materials across multiple channels, including paid media, social media, digital/web platforms, print, video, and events. Skilled in research, analysis, problem-solving and strategy development. Adaptability, Innovative and Strong project management skills. Time, budget, vendor and stakeholder management expertise. Proficiency in digital marketing and analytics, with the ability to use data to measure results, refine strategies, and optimize performance. Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment that requires adaptability, innovation, and sound judgment. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners. Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a large, diverse organization to achieve strategic goals. Customer-focused and results-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement in marketing practices and performance. Committed to ongoing professional development and continuous learning in digital marketing, analytics, brand strategy, and campaign innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with community engagement and stakeholder relationship management. Experience planning, developing, and writing for digital marketing, including social media, web, email, and paid platforms. Experience in campaign and event marketing, including planning, promotion, and measurement.
