About Us SpectacoKids is a multidisciplinary autism and developmental support centre providing ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy services to children and families across Milton, Mississauga, Brampton, and surrounding areas. Our approach is collaborative, family-centred, and focused on delivering meaningful, individualized care.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-home speech therapy support to children in the Brampton area. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Implement speech and language programs developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist Deliver 1:1 sessions in the client’s home Support communication development (e.g., articulation, language skills, social communication) Collect and document session data and progress notes Collaborate with the clinical team and caregivers Follow all professional and ethical guidelines
Qualifications
Diploma or degree as a CDA or SLPA (required) Experience working with children (required) Experience with autism and/or developmental needs (asset) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in home settings Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (required)
Schedule
Part-time hours (afternoons/evenings preferred) Flexible scheduling based on client needs
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications)
