Notre équipe se concentre sur les enjeux liés au produit principal de Zendesk : le billet de support. Nous sommes une équipe full-stack responsable de garantir que les administrateurs, agents et utilisateurs finaux puissent communiquer facilement et en toute sécurité grâce au processus de billetterie de Zendesk.

En plus de développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités, nous veillons à ce que nos systèmes demeurent fiables, évolutifs et performants.

Responsabilités

  • Simplifier un système de billetterie complexe et le rendre hautement personnalisable pour divers besoins clients.
  • Livrer des logiciels de calibre entreprise et relever les défis liés à des produits mondiaux.
  • Promouvoir l’appropriation du code, les meilleures pratiques, un code de haute qualité et une couverture de tests robuste.
  • Participer ou diriger toutes les phases du cycle de développement logiciel (découverte, conception technique, définition de la portée, prototypage, implantation, tests, déploiement, optimisation).
  • Collaborer avec une petite équipe axée sur la modernisation de la pile backend et l’implantation de changements importants à la plateforme.

Exigences obligatoires

  • 4+ années d’expérience en développement logiciel
  • Maîtrise des frameworks backend, particulièrement Ruby et Rails
  • Solide compréhension de GraphQL, REST, de la conception d’API et de l’architecture de systèmes
  • Expérience en conception et développement de systèmes de calibre entreprise
  • Compétences pratiques en développement web dans une vaste base de code

Atouts

  • Expérience avec Ruby, Java, Python ou autres langages serveur
  • Maîtrise de MySQL, Aurora ou autres bases relationnelles
  • Connaissance de MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis
  • Expérience avec Kafka, SNS/SQS ou architectures distribuées
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale

English Version – Senior Software Developer, Ticketing Product (Backend / Full Stack) Who We're Looking For Zendesk is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the Ticketing Product team. Our team focuses on the core functionality of Zendesk’s primary product: the Support Ticket. We are a full-stack team responsible for ensuring admins, agents, and end-users can communicate easily and securely through Zendesk’s ticketing workflows.

In addition to building new features, we ensure our systems remain reliable, scalable, and fast.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Make a complex ticketing system easy to understand and highly customizable for a wide range of customer needs.
  • Deliver enterprise-grade software and solve challenges that come with global-scale products.
  • Champion code ownership, best practices, high-quality code, and strong test coverage.
  • Participate in or lead all phases of the software lifecycle: discovery, tech design, scoping, prototyping, implementation, testing, rollout, and ongoing performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with a small team focusing on modernizing our backend stack and implementing impactful platform improvements.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Expert-level backend skills, especially with Ruby and Rails
  • Strong understanding of application development, GraphQL, REST, API design, and systems architecture
  • Experience designing and operating systems at enterprise scale
  • Practical web development experience in a large, established codebase

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Ruby, Java, Python, or similar server-side languages
  • Proficiency with relational data stores such as MySQL or Aurora
  • Understanding of MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis
  • Experience with event-driven, distributed architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
