About the role
Join an exciting opportunity to bring a vibrant children’s animation series to life. This long-term project involves animating 60 to 70 episodes, each 6–8 minutes in length, with a lively and expressive style inspired by classic characters like Mickey Mouse. All scripts, 3D models, rigged characters, and voiceovers will be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering smooth, engaging animation that captivates young audiences. The project is led by a Producer and Creative Director, with ongoing work and performance bonuses available for timely, high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities
- Animate provided 3D characters and assets for each episode, ensuring expressive and child-friendly movement
- Collaborate closely with the Producer and Creative Director to maintain the desired animation style and pacing
- Integrate voiceovers and scripts into the animation workflow for seamless storytelling
- Deliver episodes according to the production schedule, maintaining consistency and quality across all content
- Implement feedback and revisions promptly to meet creative and technical standards
- Ensure all animations are suitable for children and align with the project’s vision
Skills And Requirements
- Proficiency in Blender for 3D animation
- Demonstrated experience animating for children’s content or similar projects
- Strong understanding of character animation, timing, and expressive movement
- Ability to work efficiently on long-form episodic content
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule
- Portfolio showcasing relevant animation work, especially for children’s media
- Availability for ongoing collaboration and potential follow-up projects
