As Vice President Commercial Financial Services for Metro Halifax, you will develop effective sales forces and in-market service capability to support client retention, acquisition and consolidation within all industry verticals.
Your coaching and sales leadership activities support the maximization of revenue opportunities and drive superior customer experience focus within the marketplace. You will be responsible to lead the implementation of strategic initiatives and market opportunities to profile RBC with government, specific industry segments and community groups, allowing RBC to be the “Bank for Business” in HRM.

Experience
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will champion sales management practices and lead in the implementation of strategic initiatives. You will lead initiatives to achieve superior client experience and enhance employee capability and engagement while leveraging full RBC Financial Group capabilities. The successful applicant will bring a "coaching to win attitude", proven ability to lead at senior levels and an ability to build and strengthen teams. Candidates should have proven experience in managing people and in accomplishing results through others, strong business development skills, solid communication skills and deep credit structuring experience. Minimum five years of commercial banking experience ideally including experience with complex commercial clients.
Education
- undergraduate degree in business or equivalent degree
- advanced level of formal business education preferred (MBA, CA, CGA, CMA)
