Position Overview Are you a software engineer excited about the potential of Artificial Intelligence? Are you curious about how AI can be leveraged in the architectural and engineering design of our Autodesk Administration platform?

Our Access Project Admin team is working to integrate the power of AI and Machine Learning into Autodesk Project Administration platform to help our customers leverage data and prior knowledge to make better decisions about how to design and build our world.

We are looking for a driven, highly collaborative, and naturally innovative Full-Stack Software Engineer Intern to join our team this summer that can build prototypes that will showcase the various Conversational AI models we are building for Access Project Administration workflows. In this role, you will work closely with a team of Engineers and UX Designers to architect and implement a front-end online experience that showcases how AI can transform customer workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers and UX designers to design, build, and test a working prototype
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies like standup and demo
  • Work with technical lead and software architect on the appropriate implementation strategy
  • Participate in technical discussions and review pull requests of others on the team
  • Prepare presentations to communicate your work to the larger team

  • You are looking to learn more about the machine learning domain
  • You are comfortable working in newly forming ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills
  • You are great at communicating your findings both orally and visually
  • You have strong problem-solving skills
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectually as a member of team with minimal supervision

Minimum Qualifications

  • Full-time student pursuing a BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field at an accredited program in the United States with at least one academic term to complete post internship to be eligible for internship participation
  • As the internship will be fast paced, we require that you have previous front-end web development experience specifically working knowledge of Python/TypeScript/JavaScript and React along with strong experience debugging your code
  • Good communication skills and an awareness of how to communicate data and results effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous back-end development experience including working with Docker
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning/Data Science concepts and experience working with libraries like TensorFlow
  • Experience working with React and Next.js
  • Exposure to Cloud Computing in AWS and leveraging the SageMaker Studio platform
