BUS DRIVER – 5 POSITIONS – OPEN COMPETITION
About the role
Job Purpose The Bus Driver is responsible for providing transportation of students to and from school within and outside of Enoch Cree Nation utilizing large fleet vehicles.
Education, Experience And Requirements
- Must have worked in a similar capacity in the past
- Computer literate
- Must have a clean criminal record
- Must have and provide a clean driver’s abstract
- Must have a valid Alberta driver’s license (class 1 or 2 as well as S endorsement)
- Must be certified in First Aid
- Ability to deal with staff and clientele in a professional manner.
- Ability to work effectively with adults, elders, and young children.
- Proficient knowledge of driving routes in and around Edmonton and surrounding areas. Must be
- willing to take any training provided.
- Preferably completion of grade 12 or equivalent (G.E.D)
- Ability to work quickly and accurately with figures
- Minimum of 2 years working in a similar capacity on and off reserve.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong decision-making skills
Working Conditions
Will be required to work at either of the Enoch Cree Nation Kitaskinaw Education Authority Buildings for an 8-hour shift in accordance to the ECN Human Resource Policy & Procedure Manual – Section C.
