The Opportunity

We’re hiring an Assistant General Manager to join our Dance Bar team—home to high-energy nights, packed dance floors, and unforgettable experiences across our venues.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Background in hospitality, nightlife, marketing, or sales (event management experience is a major asset)
  • A strong guest-experience mindset and the ability to build and maintain community connection
  • Confident administrative and computer skills (Microsoft Suite, POS systems, employee timekeeping platforms)
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and comfort working late nights and high-energy shifts
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to stay calm, clear, and solution-focused in fast-paced or stressful moments
  • Serving It Right certification
  • First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Your Days Will Look Like

  • Leading by example with strong product knowledge and hype-driven sales skills, inspiring your team to upsell and elevate the guest experience
  • Scheduling, training, and developing team members—providing coaching that helps them thrive in a busy nightlife environment
  • Recruiting top talent and fostering a positive, high-energy, performance-driven team culture
  • Participating in regular operations meetings, contributing insight into revenue, labour, guest flow, and staff engagement
  • Overseeing nightly inventory and ensuring every shift is fully stocked and ready to hit the floor running
  • Maintaining strict compliance with liquor-license regulations, security standards, and all legal/safety requirements
  • Championing internal feedback programs and creating opportunities to recognize and celebrate your team
  • Helping plan and execute promo nights, themed events, and marketing initiatives that drive traffic and energy
  • Upholding and promoting the company’s Core Values in every aspect of operations
  • Stepping into service when needed to keep the energy high and guests happy throughout the night
