About the role

A career as Senior Director – Data Science Artificial Intelligence on the Data team at National Bank will help define the AI and machine learning strategy and deliver concrete, high-impact solutions. This position allows you to play a key role in technological innovation while creating value for the organisation through your leadership, scientific expertise and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Your job

  • Lead, coach and grow a multidisciplinary team of artificial intelligence and machine learning scientists.
  • Define and implement the strategic roadmap for artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to transform needs into concrete, measurable solutions.
  • Oversee the development, deployment and monitoring of robust and scalable models and algorithms.
  • Ensure scientific rigour, reproducibility and application of ethical practises in artificial intelligence.
  • Represent the team in executive forums and cross-sector initiatives.

The Vice-President – Data and Analytics brings together a team of passionate specialists who work in an agile and collaborative way to transform data into drivers of growth and innovation. We combine scientific expertise, entrepreneurial spirit and collaboration to create high-value-added solutions.

In the Data sector, you will be part of a centralised team dedicated to artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will report to a Senior Manager and collaborate with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds to develop innovative projects across the organisation. Prerequisites

  • Master's or doctorate degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Experience in team management
  • Experience delivering AI solutions with a measurable impact on business
  • Experience with cloud platforms, MLOps practises and deployment in production.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Languages:

English, French

Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
