About the role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a HABS Associate on a temporary basis (up to 18 months) on our Shared Services team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The Home and Building Solutions (HABS) Associate is responsible for data entry to create new items, item maintenance, key cost changes, assist with promotions, and issue claims to suppliers.

What you’ll do:
- Item data entry including creating new items in master data, item deletions & changes, keying cost changes, and e-commerce catalogues with an ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in administration of rates pertaining to freight, exchange, and duty.
- Issue claims to suppliers as required.
- Generate necessary reports for suppliers and Category Managers.
- Assist with trade shows as required.
- Other duties as required.
Who you’ll work with :
The Team: You will work closely with Category Managers in both HABS and Food and will report into the Item Management Supervisor. This team is composed of 6 people who strive to cultivate a culture of collaboration, accuracy and efficiency.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Retail Merchandising business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Marketing.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Administration and:
- Have minimum one year of related experience.
- Have a Grade 12 diploma plus a recognized one-year business program.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and mainframe applications is an asset.
