Role Description The Pharmacy Technician / Software Trainer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include using professional pharmacy knowledge to support implementation and training for Box Labs’ pharmacy management software. The role involves conducting user training sessions, creating and updating training materials, and guiding pharmacy teams on workflows related to prescriptions, inventory, and customer interactions within the platform. The Pharmacy Technician / Software Trainer will collaborate with product and support teams to identify common user issues, provide feedback for software improvements, and assist with onboarding new clients. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to helping pharmacy staff successfully adopt and optimize the system. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Prescription processing and related pharmacy workflows. Hands-on experience working in a Pharmacy environment, ideally in community or outpatient settings. Background as Pharmacy Technicians or in a similar pharmacy operations role. Experience with Inventory Control in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Proven Customer Service skills when working with patients or healthcare professionals. Comfort with cloud-based software and ability to learn new digital tools quickly. Previous experience delivering training, onboarding users, or providing technical support is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences. Organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple clients and training sessions. Relevant certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
