About the role
About Blair AI Blair AI builds, implements, and manages AI agents for healthcare organizations. Our agents help clinics automate front-office workflows like referral management, patient intake, scheduling, outbound calls, inbound calls, document processing, and follow-up workflows.
We are Toronto-based health tech company building software that helps private speciality practices and other healthcare organizations manage their patient relationships at the volume and complexity modern practices demand. In our first year, our platform supports healthcare organizations reaching over 500,000 patients across Canada.
We raised a $3M US seed round backed by Mars IAF, Ampify Capital and Mistral Ventures. Our founders have deep experience in enterprise healthcare and startups and we are one of the fastest growing healthcare startups in the country.
The team is small. Everyone does real work, takes initiative, and owns their outcomes. New employees work directly with the founders and grow with the company as we scale.
Healthcare spends over $1T annually on administration in Canada and the US, we are just getting started enabling our partners to deliver more and better care to patients.
About the Role
As an Agent Deployment Manager, you will own the rollout, success, and expansion of Blair’s AI agents and platform across our clinic customers.
You will work directly with healthcare operators, executives, clinic managers, administrators, and internal engineering/product teams to turn messy real-world workflows into configured, tested, production-ready AI agents.
This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to understand customer operations deeply, drive implementation timelines, configure and test workflows, coordinate with forward-deployed engineers, manage customer stakeholders, identify product gaps, and ensure our agents perform in the real world.
As one of the first non-technical hires, you will sit at the intersection of product strategy, growth, and customer service, and operations.
What You’ll Do
Own customer deployments end-to-end: Lead implementations from kickoff through go-live and post-launch stabilization. You will own the plan, timeline, risks, customer communication, testing, training, and launch readiness. Translate healthcare workflows into AI agent behavior: Work deeply with clinic teams to understand how their operations actually run, then turn those workflows into clear requirements, configurations, test cases, escalation paths, and success criteria. Partner with Product and Engineering: Work closely with our forward-deployed engineers and product team to surface technical blockers, edge cases, integration needs, product gaps, and opportunities to make our platform more repeatable. Tune and improve agent performance: Review agent outputs, calls, messages, workflow completions, data, and failure cases to identify what is working, what is breaking, and what needs to improve before and after launch. Surface expansion opportunities: As you understand a customer’s operations, identify additional workflows where Blair can drive impact. Help turn successful deployments into broader customer expansion.
About YouExperience
Previous experience in consulting, banking, solutions engineering, customer operations, product operations, or another analytical customer-facing role. Technically fluent: you can learn systems quickly, work through configuration, understand product constraints, and communicate credibly with both customers and engineering. Experience in high-growth, ambiguous environments such as startups, consulting, healthcare, enterprise SaaS, or operations-heavy businesses is a strong plus. Healthcare, healthtech, clinic operations experience is a bonus but not required
Attributes Problem Solver: You enjoy turning messy, real-world workflows into clear systems, decisions, and next steps. High Ownership: You take full responsibility for outcomes, follow through without being asked, and hold yourself to a high bar. Customer-Obsessed: You care about understanding how customers actually work and are willing to get into the details to make them successful. Technically Fluent: You do not need to be an engineer, but you are comfortable learning software tools, configuring systems, reviewing data, understanding edge cases, and partnering closely with technical teams. Clear Communicator: You are concise, structured, and comfortable communicating with executives, operators, clinicians, and engineers. Bonus: Startup or founder experience
Why Blair You will work directly with the founders from day one. The team is small enough that your work is visible, your ideas get heard, and what you do actually moves things forward. We are growing fast and the people joining now are the ones who will have the opportunity to lead and build this function out as we scale.
