A FULL TIME GRADE 8 TEACHER
For Pioneer Middle School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta
Applications are invited for a Full Time Grade 8 Math and Science Teacher.
Pioneer Middle School is seeking a temporary Grade 8 Math & Science teacher to cover a leave at least until Christmas break, perhaps longer. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the grade 8 team. Other teaching duties will include Health 8 and Art 8 (support provided).
Start date will be as soon as possible.
Pioneer Middle School is a dual track grade 6-8 English and French Immersion school, located
in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Pioneer School is a professional learning community with
high expectations, committed to ensuring that all students achieve academic, social and
emotional success and growth within a safe, caring, healthy and positive environment.
A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document.
The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
Posting will remain open until a candidate is hired but all applicants received by 4:00 pm on November 12, 2025 will be guaranteed consideration.
