Job Description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is a self-starter and capable of working independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The role focuses on CI/CD modernization, cloud infrastructure automation, and secure, scalable deployment practices across microservices-based architectures.

The candidate will support the migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliable deployments across cloud-native environments using Kubernetes and Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage source control and DevOps workflows using GitHub Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions Support migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions Implement microservices deployment using Helm charts and YAML configurations Manage frontend deployments using Akamai NetStorage and backend deployments on Kubernetes Build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for provisioning and environment management Manage secrets and configurations using Azure Key Vault Integrate security and quality tools such as SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines Define branching strategies, code review processes, and DevOps best practices Automate deployment workflows and troubleshoot production issues Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure and application performance Document processes and mentor team members on DevOps practices

Required Skills

6+ Years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with GitHub Actions and pipeline migration Strong expertise in Kubernetes and containerized deployments Hands-on experience with Helm charts and YAML-based microservices deployment Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and Azure Key Vault Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent) Strong understanding of CI/CD security, SonarQube, and vulnerability scanning Solid experience with Git workflows, branching strategies, and code reviews Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud, application, and deployment environments Good understanding of Linux, networking, and web protocols

Nice to Have

Experience with GitHub Actions at scale (enterprise migration projects) Exposure to React or Spring-based applications Experience with Akamai or CDN-based deployment systems Familiarity with Dynatrace or other observability tools Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Understanding of build automation, testing, and release strategies Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
