

FT Bake-Off/Deli Supervisor (Watrous Food #278) Watrous , SK - Saskatoon Co-op
About the role
Reporting to the Bake-off/Deli Manager, responsibilities for this position
include the following:
-
Ensuring exceptional customer service is always provided.
-
Assist in the development of employee schedules and assign work task for each shift.
-
Ensure orders are submitted, received properly piece counts are conducted, and claims are processed in timely manner.
-
Ensure proper merchandising and housekeeping standards within the bakery and deli departments including adequate display, stock, and rotation of products (FIFO).
-
Assist in the management of inventory including ordering, receiving, record management and rotation of all products and ingredients within the bakery and deli departments.
-
Ensure Fresh Item Management processes are properly adhered to including production planning, inventory tracking and recording markdowns (if applicable).
-
Assist with training the bakery and deli teams while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.

Maintaining a safe environment for all employees, customers, and vendors. Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety Policies and Programs, including safe equipment use and ensuring all food safety standards are met.

To follow all Policies and Procedures of Saskatoon Co-op

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years related experience with bakery, meat & cheese and HMR product lines to operated effectively as a supervisor in all areas of the department.

Must have capability to operate the required equipment for the preparations, merchandising and sale of bakery and deli products.

Must be strongly service oriented and motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.

Must have ability and experience in leading, training and supervising others.
-
Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
