The Peace River School Division requires a Part -Time (0.50 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant at Cleardale Colony School, located in Cleardale, Alberta. This position will commence on August 27, 2025 and continue until the end of the school year. The initial assignment will include working with students in grades 5-9.

Cleardale is a small farming community in the Peace River Country close to the banks of the Peace River. The community is approximately 200 km from Grande Prairie and 80 km from Fort St. John, British Columbia. Cleardale Colony Hutterite School serves students in grades 1 thru 9.

Qualifications:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or related experience and/or training
• Ability to work with students of different ages
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Excellent organizational skills

Requirements:

• Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check

Consideration will be given to applicants who have an understanding of and appreciation for Hutterite culture and values. Bilingualism in English and low German is considered an asset.

Rate of Pay:

$22.59 to $28.02 per hour (dependent experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the and the Peace River School Division).
