About the role

Description

The Court Registry Agent is responsible for supporting clients with their supreme court filings and court searches. This role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage filings efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture while ensuring accurate and timely court submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, coordinate, and prepare legal documents to ensure they meet court filing requirements

  • File documents at court registries, both electronically and in person

  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients via phone, email, and in person

  • Support clients with document searches and registration requests

  • Uphold and promote the Company’s core values in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders

  • Use Excel and other tools to manage records, track filings, and support reporting

  • Adapt to changing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Experience in a customer service, administrative, or legal support role

  • Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail

  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

  • Familiarity with court processes or legal documentation is an asset but not required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working within a dynamic, team-based setting

In line with the amended Employment Standards Act 2000, the salary range for this role is:

$40K, dependent on assessment of skills during the interview process.
