Mission Group is seeking a Home Service Technician to join the Homeowner Care team. Reporting to the Homeowner Care Manager, the individual will be responsible for the coordination and repair of deficiencies and service calls after homeowners take possession of their space. Working closely with the construction team and trades, the Homeowner Care Representative will coordinate homeowner handovers and ensure the completion of deficiency requests. This role requires a blend of strong customer service and technical hands-on skills. The role is ideal for someone who is service-minded, customer-focused, and experienced with a toolbelt.
What you’ll do:

Complete deficiency repairs in advance of homeowner possession dates and warranty timelines, including hands-on finishing work such as repainting and paint touch-ups, drywall patching and repairs, minor carpentry and trim/baseboard adjustments, window and door alignments, and other detail-oriented trade tasks

Lead homeowner orientation walkthroughs and document any deficiencies requiring repair or remediation

Coordinate repairs with external third parties

Schedule and attend service appointments with homeowners

Address service requests related to warranty coverage policies

Maintain clear and regular communication with internal teams regarding outstanding and in-progress items

Accurately track and update all service records within Salesforce
-
Ensure the service vehicle is properly maintained and kept clean and presentable

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
What you’ll bring:
-
Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
-
3+ years of experience either in construction, preferably in residential construction, or facilities maintenance
-
Post-secondary education in a trade such as carpentry is an asset
-
Multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
-
Strong communication skills to represent Mission Group positively and professionally
-
Ability and proficiency in using all tools related to construction and comfort with working at heights
-
Team player, professional attitude, compassion for customer concerns
-
Strong organizational skills
-
Knowledge of construction and building codes
-
Dedication to safety and safe work procedures
-
Ability to work with little or no supervision or in a team environment
-
Ability to lift and hold 40 lbs.

Valid Class 5 drivers’ license and insurable
