Client Intake Specialist

Mandall Immigration Law is a highly rated, Toronto based immigration law firm focused exclusively on Canadian immigration, refugee, and humanitarian matters. Our practice is client focused and fast paced, with a high volume of incoming enquiries and a strong emphasis on getting prospective clients booked into consultations quickly and professionally.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Client Intake Specialist to join our team. This is a fully remote position available immediately. The ideal candidate is well spoken, comfortable on the phone, and has a solid working knowledge of Canadian immigration law services and terminology, enough to speak credibly with prospective clients about their situation and next steps, without providing legal advice.

Key Focus of the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is being the first point of contact for incoming enquiries, calling and following up quickly, qualifying prospective clients, and booking them into consultations with our lawyers. This role is highly phone facing and best suited for someone who enjoys talking to people, builds rapport quickly, and can handle a high volume of calls and follow ups in a fast paced environment without letting enquiries fall through the cracks.

Responsibilities

Call and follow up with incoming enquiries promptly (speed to lead is quite important for this position) Qualify enquiries and assess general fit for a consultation. Speak knowledgeably and clearly about common immigration pathways and terminology (study permits, work permits, permanent residence, sponsorship, refugee claims, etc.) to build trust and answer basic questions. Book qualified enquiries into consultations with our lawyers.

Manage a high volume of calls

Follow up diligently with unresponsive enquiries. No enquiry left behind.

Requirements

Solid working knowledge of Canadian immigration law services and terminology. Excellent verbal communication skills, clear, confident, and well spoken. Strong social and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly over the phone. Proven ability to handle a high volume of calls and enquiries without dropping the ball. Experience in onboarding, appointment setting, administration is valued. Previous law firm clerk or immigration experience is a strong asset. Skills from a call centre environment, could also be transferable. Highly organized and comfortable in a fast paced, client facing environment. Evening and weekend availability is a significant asset.

Compensation and Incentives

Pay and bonuses

$20/hour base rate. Uncapped bonuses for every consultation booked. Opportunities for advancement and increased pay as the firm scales (performance based raises tied to booking volume or quality)

Flexibility

Fully remote position. Flexible hours within a set availability window. Option to move between full time and part time as needed. A good degree of independence in how you manage your day and your pipeline.
