We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the financial reporting team reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting, responsible for areas related to FP&A activities and corporate tax compliance, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and liquidity planning.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and improve financial models for tax planning and operational decisions.

Take ownership and lead the annual budgeting and monthly variance analysis, analyzing key business drivers, revenue and cost trends, and profitability metrics; provide insights to senior leadership.

Maintain short‑ and long‑term cash flow forecasting models and monitor liquidity positions to ensure adequate working capital.

Partner with Treasury team to manage cash movements, debt facilities, and intercompany funding.

Enhance tools, models, and processes related to liquidity planning and cash forecasting.

Oversee intercompany transactions and tax planning initiatives.

Lead all corporate tax filings, including federal, provincial, and indirect sales taxes; ensure accuracy and timely submission.

Prepare and review monthly tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.

Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate implications for the organization.

Support audits and manage external advisors on technical tax matters.

Creating and reviewing detailed working papers that involve advanced use of Excel.
Qualifications
-
CPA or equivalent professional designation required.
-
3+ years of progressive experience across tax, financial reporting, FP&A, and/or Treasury roles.

Strong understanding of Canadian corporate tax rules.
-
Experience with Canadian corporate tax rules, capital cost allowance (CCA), and tax considerations specific to leasing corporations is an asset.

Advanced Excel skills.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and variance analysis is an asset.

Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
The ideal candidate will show a keen interest in learning and an ongoing desire to improve the timeliness and efficiency of the financial reporting processes.
