Coordinator, External Communications
The purpose of this position is to support the national Marketing and Communications team in achieving our Firm’s strategic priorities by engaging B2B audiences through the development and distribution of timely, relevant content on external channels, including social media, website, and newsletters.
As a Coordinator, External Communications your responsibilities will include
- Work cross-functionally with the external communications team to contribute to and execute communications strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications stakeholders to develop creative and engaging content that reflects the Firm’s voice across a variety of channels.
- Manage national social media channels, including content creation, publishing, and scheduling in alignment with content calendars and integrated marketing activities.
- Develop and maintain the social media content calendar using our content management platform and Hootsuite.
- Collaborate with internal teams and, on occasion, external advisors to coordinate the development of social media graphics, animations, videos, and other creative assets.
- Support the development, coordination, and distribution of internal and external newsletters, ensuring content is timely, engaging, and aligned with business priorities.
- Conduct research and gather insights to support the development of thought leadership content, media materials, and other strategic communications initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day community management of social media accounts, including monitoring activity, engaging with content, responding to or escalating inquiries, reporting on performance, and ensuring quality control across all channels.
- Support a positive client experience and lead management by responding to, triaging, and directing client and stakeholder inquiries to the appropriate teams and resources.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to maximize channel effectiveness.
- Track, measure, and report on the performance and ROI of communications and social media initiatives.
- Support other communications projects and responsibilities, as required.

- Undergraduate degree in media, marketing, communications, or a related field
- 1+ years related professional experience
- 1+ years working in a B2B environment
- Proficient in managing, publishing, and creating content for social media platforms and related apps, including: LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- Experience in community management with the ability to communicate, effectively problem-solve, and de-escalate
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content that provokes engagement

Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $50,000–$65,000 in Toronto. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors. Our special culture shines through when we have the opportunity to connect in person. That’s why we’re working in a model where teams are required to be together in the office 4 days per week.
