The Content Strategist is responsible for developing and deploying content and content strategies that align with our clients' objectives and target insights. This role involves planning, creating, editing and analyzing content across various platforms to a high degree of excellence, meeting/exceeding the goals set for the work.
Responsibilities Content Planning
- Serve as a content strategy subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and consultation on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
- Strong understanding, and ability to demonstrate through execution, the connection between moments, data, insight and plans.
- Develop and execute social media strategies, including social playbooks, and competitor audits to drive engagement and results.
- Keeping ahead of, and educating others (clients and colleagues) regarding platform best practices, trend insights and strategic recommendations
- Collaborate closely with senior management and agency teams to advise on best practices in content strategy and creation.
Content Creation/ Production
- Specialize in producing content across multiple formats, including video production, photography, copywriting, graphic design, and light animation for both organic and paid campaigns.
- Manage or oversee the end-to-end content creation process, ensuring high-quality production for all visual assets, including video, photography, and graphics.
- Manage or oversee on-location video production logistics, including filming schedules, travel arrangements, and coordinating necessary resources.
- Perform post-production editing and quality control, ensuring all content meets brand consistency standards.
Media

Strong understanding and sharing of organic and paid media principles:

ability to understand KPIs, Jobs to be Done, and how align content types to satisfy these.

Ability to execute paid boosting as needed
Project Management
- Act as primary client contact for content calendars
- In partnership with account teams, ensure alignment to strategy and executional recommendations
- On assigned businesses, manage project timelines and team capacity, coordinating internal staff and occasionally freelancers for smooth and efficient execution of content projects.
- Working with the production team to accurately scope needs pre, production and post.
- Oversee social budgets, managing cost estimates, purchase orders, invoicing, and financial tracking to ensure efficient use of resources.
Performance Analytics & Budget Oversight:
- Track, analyze, and adapt to evolving content trends, integrating new ideas to enhance content performance and engagement.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly and post-campaign reports, providing data-driven insights to optimize social media and digital content strategies.
Stretch Tasks:
- Researching audience insights and executing the creation of consumer journey/moments mapping
Qualifications You have at least 5 years of dynamic agency experience (preferably PR) working on multiple client accounts, and you thrive amidst inter-agency collaboration.
You are a detailed Project Manager in the making and have an attractive record for both servicing clients and working with your team. You have a deep appreciation
for communication, and an advanced knowledge of the media, influencer and PR landscape. More importantly, you feel at home in the influencer/meme culture
space, and you’re an early adopter of new social platforms. The idea of working on culturally relevant, breakthrough programming excites you. No rigid hierarchical
