About the role
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst/Data Analyst to support data analysis, database development, regulatory monitoring, and vendor management activities within a leading financial services environment.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python scripts and SQL queries for data analysis and reporting. Analyze, cleanse, and validate data from multiple sources, including Excel-based datasets. Support database development and migration initiatives. Monitor data activity logs and identify anomalies or compliance concerns. Coordinate with external vendors and support issue resolution activities. Create and maintain process documentation and recommend process improvements.
Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Teradata. Experience with data analysis, reporting, and database environments. Advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working with stakeholders and managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills JIRA experience. Vendor Relationship Management experience. Exposure to Power BI or Tableau. Financial services, risk, or regulatory environment experience.
