WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
Our Project Delivery team is responsible for delivering both technology and business projects, as well as providing input to project and portfolio planning. We are a high-performing group which focuses on executing projects that connect business needs with process and technology solutions to drive seamless and innovative airport experiences.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-wide projects, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in partnership with Finance.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and maintain strong working relationships to ensure alignment and transparency with senior leaders, vendors and clients.
- Proactively monitor project activities to identify potential risks and issues that could affect timelines, budget, scope, or quality.
- Facilitate risk assessment workshops with stakeholders to evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
- Responsible for shaping standards and best practices across departments and the organization.
- Champion project management best practices and contribute to the maturity of the Project Delivery Office.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to internal controls, regulatory standards, and organizational policies, including data privacy, financial reporting, and procurement guidelines.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING
- The ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC (RAIC Program and Application Information).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management, including leading cross-functional or enterprise-level initiatives.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
- Experience leading change initiatives or managing stakeholder adoption of new processes.
- Skilled in preparing and presenting project updates, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET
- Familiarity with financial systems and software, with Oracle experience an asset (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning tools).
- Bilingual in English or French.
- Graduate-level education (e.g., MBA, Master’s in a relevant discipline) is preferred for strategic or enterprise-level project leadership roles.
