Your Day-to-Day
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation)
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support residents with mobility and encourage participation in social activities
- Monitor residents’ health and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Provide specialized care to residents with dementia using appropriate techniques
- Collaborate with team members to deliver holistic, individualized care
What You Bring to the Team
- Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is considered an asset
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach with respect for dignity and privacy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform safe lifting/moving of residents
- Commitment to maintaining clean and organized living spaces
- Experience working with persons with disabilities is highly desirable
