Senior Trading Support Analyst
A career as a Senior Trading Support Analyst within the Financial Markets Operations team means acting as an operational specialist in over the counter (OTC) transactions. Through your knowledge of OTC products (FX, money markets), your drive to contribute to the sector’s transformation, and your passion for financial markets, you play a key role in positively impacting the bank’s profitability and growth.
You can work from our Montreal or Calgary office, whichever is closest to you.
Your role
- Support derivatives traders and sellers, particularly for FX, interest rate, and treasury financing products.
- Ensure accurate representation of financial transactions executed by traders across various internal systems.
- Contribute to the optimal integration of new products and regulatory and/or technological requirements into operations.
- Confirm FX and short-term financing transactions with clients and partners.
- Coordinate and validate the completion of transaction settlement activities in collaboration with partners
- Participate in various phases of analysis and testing to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Update and optimize existing processes and procedures.
Your team
Within the Financial Markets Operations sector, you are part of a large team of 30 colleagues and will report to the Senior Manager OTC Derivatives. Our team stands out for its expertise in OTC products, its engaged and passionate employees, and its contribution to the profitability of financial markets.
You will be on the front line supporting our traders by providing high-quality assistance, continuously bringing ideas for efficiency, automation, and team training. Additionally, you will act as a guardian, alongside the team, of our processes and procedures, which are constantly evolving due to new business opportunities and major initiatives.

Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree completed in a related field, and 2+ years of experience in financial market operations
- Knowledge of systems such as Murex, Swift, ISM, Bloomberg, or Reuters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (VBA, Macros, Pivot Tables, Dynamic Tables, etc.)
- Good understanding of derivative products in general
- Experience in resolving issues related to irregular and complex financial transactions
- Bilingualism is not required for candidates located in Calgary; proficiency in spoken and written English is essential
