The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a part-time (approx. 0.13 FTE) Middle School Career and Technology Foundations (CTF) teaching position starting January 6, 2026 until June 30, 2026, at Cochrane Christian Academy. This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

The Christian Program is an alternative program offered by RVS. The program focuses on integrating the Christian faith and a Biblical world-view in a public school setting. Cochrane Christian Academy is a community where people and relationships matter, where identity and culture is clearly defined by their Christian faith, and where an excellent learning community is provided for their students.

Pre-employment Requirements

  • Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an AlbertaTeaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at

  • The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment
