You Are: A talented application PolicyCenter Developer with deep knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter application solutions. You’re skilled in all aspects of Guidewire implementation, from design and configuration to customization and support after the solution goes live. You enjoy working with people with all different skill sets, and you have a flair for negotiating and gaining consensus in a fast-paced environment. You have plenty—you’re a master at juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Planning and strategizing come easily to you, and you have a take-charge approach to seeing tasks through to completion.
The Work:- Work in the global delivery model and be a liaison between the client and software development team across different geographies
- Work with client subject matter experts and business analysts to design, develop an approach for the configuration, estimate configuration effort, impact analysis, produce design documents
- Design, Develop, and Test Configuration Solutions
- Configure Product Models using Product Designer or APD (Preferred)
- Write business rules and other business logic in GOSU
- Write SOAP & REST based Webservices in GOSU
- Configure screen layouts, including the creation of new screens, in XML files
- This role requires to be in local office 2 - 3 days per week. Preferred locations Mississauga, Canada and Toronto, Canada Here’s what you need:- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with design and architecture of Guidewire applications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Guidewire Rating Engine, Product Model, and Data Model
- Minimum of 3 years of proven development experience in Object Oriented Programming (such as Java) and SQL
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in associated field.
- Guidewire Associate certification Bonus Points If:- ACE Certification in Guidewire Policy Center is an asset
- Experience with MuleSoft / Other APIs is an asset
- Prior experience with either XML, GUnit, Jenkins, GIT/Subversion/TFS, Code Coverage and Code Scan Plugin/Tools
- Prior experience with Application Servers like WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss and/ or Tomcat; Apache and JBOSS
- Prior experience with GW Product Designer and Advance Product Designer (Preferred)
- Prior experience in configuring the build scripts using Gradle/Ant/Maven, GIT/SVN
- Prior experience in Continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Bamboo/Hudson
