Description
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information.
- Ensure all estimates align with client expectations and organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain a database of costs and pricing for future projects.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities to improve project outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators within the team.
- Participate in bid presentations and client meetings to support project proposals.

Profile
A successful Chief Estimator should have:
- 10+ years in commercial or industrial construction estimating, with 6+ years on complex, multi-million-dollar bids.
- Proven general contractor background.
- Proficiency in construction software and tools.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- Relevant educational qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- Experience in managing complex projects and working with diverse teams.
