The open-pit gold mine is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. and is operated by IAMGOLD. We are located near Gogama, Ontario, with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections with our local communities.

Manager, Finance & Supply Chain
The Manager, Finance and Supply Chain provides strategic leadership and oversight across the Finance and Supply Chain functions. This role ensures alignment of financial planning, reporting, procurement, and logistics to support organizational goals. The Manager leads and supports the Superintendents of Finance and Supply Chain, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Area 1:
Oversee all accounting operations.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making.

Supply Chain Management.
Supply Chain Management
- Direct procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure supplier performance and contract compliance.
- Promote sustainability and risk mitigation in supply chain practices.
- Support the Superintendent, Supply Chain in achieving operational goals.
Area 3:
Leadership and Collaboration
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Mentor and develop direct reports to build high-performing teams.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align finance and supply chain strategies.
- Represent the department in organizational planning and external engagements.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements and Nice To Haves
minimum qualifications, formal education, certifications or equivalents
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Formal professional designation (CPA or equivalent) is required.
Work experience - Nature & Length
- A minimum of 10 or more years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of related management experience.
- ERP and financial reporting software experience;
- Experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment and joint venture is an asset.
Additional qualifications - Competency requirements
- Results oriented with a focus on process optimization.
- Highly motivated and independently driven with a sense of urgency.
- Good working knowledge of all MS Office programs and a high level of proficiency in MS Excel are required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments and staff.
- Knowledge of Oracle will be beneficial.
- Well developed problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
