Now Hiring: Scheduler – Morgan Creek Seniors Community (Full-Time to 0.6 FTE)
Location: South Surrey, BC

Morgan Creek Seniors Community is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and proactive Scheduler to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in supporting our care team and ensuring seamless operations in a vibrant long-term care environment.
Position Details:
- Start as Full-Time to support and stabilization of scheduling systems and staff onboarding.
- Transition to 0.6 FTE after 3–6 months, once systems are established and staffing is stabilized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain staff schedules for nursing and care teams, ensuring coverage and compliance with collective agreements.
- Respond to shift changes, sick calls, and vacation requests with efficiency and empathy.
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs and support recruitment efforts.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate schedule updates clearly to all stakeholders.
- Support onboarding and orientation scheduling for new hires.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in scheduling, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfort with scheduling software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
