We are seeking a dynamic and business-savvy Generative AI / Power Platform Developer to join our team. This role emphasizes the development of AI agents and copilots using tools like Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, playing a hybrid role that combines development expertise with project management and stakeholder engagement.
What you will do
- Build and integrate generative AI capabilities and agentic solutions such as AI agents using Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform, and related tools
- Develop and maintain custom connectors, APIs, and AI integrations with enterprise systems including ServiceNOW and Moveworks Agent Studio
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, interpret, and translate requirements into intelligent automation solutions
- Support the full lifecycle of solution delivery from ideation and prototyping to deployment and maintenance
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
What you bring to the role
- Computer Science degree or equivalent education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage business users and technical teams alike
- A passion for AI innovation and a strong understanding of how to apply generative AI to real-world business challenges
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and agile development environments
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to take initiative and ownership of outcomes
Technical Skills
- Experience with Copilot Studio, Azure AI Studio, and generative AI models (e.g., GPT-4)
- Strong understanding of AI agent orchestration patterns, RAG (retrieval augmented generation), GenAI models (SLM/LLM), and prompt engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents)
- Development and solutioning experience in SharePoint Online with focus on integration with agentic AI solutions and Power Platform
- Enterprise experience with cloud security roles and custom entity creation
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, APIs, connectors, and integration strategies
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Programming familiarity with Python and JSON
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with ServiceNOW integration and Moveworks Agent Studio (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Azure AI Services and Azure AI Foundry (nice to have)
- Certifications such as Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, PL-200, or PL-400 are a plus
This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders nationally in our English speaking provinces while at KPMG.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $74,400 to $111,600 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
