How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn Guide the design and architecture of high-capacity coherent optical interfaces in OSFP and QSFP form factors.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware engineering teams, and product line management to define and implement firmware platforms for pluggable modules.
- Analyze customer use cases to clarify system and product features, ensuring alignment with host equipment and standards like CMIS.
- Drive technical leadership in firmware architecture and document clear specifications for product requirements.
- Guide agile firmware teams with your expertise, facilitating the implementation of pluggable modules.
- Utilize your experience to troubleshoot and solve issues efficiently within embedded SW/FW contexts.
- Support cross-functional collaboration, leveraging strong communication and analytical skills to foster international teamwork.
- Mentor team members and promote best practices in firmware development and coherent module applications.
Key Skills And Experience You have:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded SW/FW development
- Strong knowledge of pluggable modules like QSFP, OSFP, CFP
- Proficient understanding of host-module interfaces and standards like CMIS
- Excellent programming, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Telecom background with a focus on optical communications
- Experience working in agile firmware teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional, multicultural project teams
