In October 2024, PAL Aerospace, Air Borealis and their partner Medavie Health NL were selected as the parties to design, manage and operate integrated ambulance services for the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

PAL Aerospace is proud to provide Air Ambulance services to our communities in Newfoundland and Labrador. Operating the King Air 350 PAL offers end-to-end solutions including selection and assignment of aircrews, maintenance, creating standard operating procedures, and ensuring aircraft and pilots are always available as needed.
To support these critical missions, PAL Aerospace is seeking Captains to join our team at our primary operating bases in St. John’s and Goose Bay (with the ability to commute from other locations within Newfoundland and Labrador)!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 500 hours multi-engine PIC.
- Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License.
- Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating.
- Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical.
- Have a valid ATPL.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Must hold a current passport at time of hire.
- Must be able to travel without restrictions to the United States.
- Must have completed a high school diploma.
- Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard.
- Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Commuting: Pilots may commute from Gander NL or Deer Lake NL to PAL Aerospace’s primary operating bases in St. Johns and Goose Bay, with travel and accommodations covered by PAL Aerospace.

Rotational Schedule: PAL Aerospace offers a rotational (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off), allowing for meaningful rest, travel, and family time away from work.
