As the Menzies Aviation Tank Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising an operating team sampling and testing Jet A-1 for quality control, performing inspections and maintenance on facilities, fuel systems. Other responsibilities include receiving and dispatching jet fuel, via pipelines, railcars, and fuel trucks. Supervisors will be responsible for training, safety compliance, and audit reviews.
Main Accountabilities Include
- Responsible for safe and secure turn around of our client’s aircrafts.
- When required moving payload in transit flights as per weight and balance requirements.
- Check NOTOC as per regulations.
- Be proactive in all areas in terms of Load Control file: flight plans, Met, Pibs.
- Bring correct PNL to the flight system for check in purposes.
- Make sure that the correct hold version, crew, and pantry for the handled flight.
- Adjust service weights as required.
- Obtain cargo weights with the order of offloads as stipulated by carriers.
- Calculate and send message for estimated Zero Fuel Weight.
- Calculation of baggage ULDS required and advise baggage team.
- Completion of the load plan.
- Completion of General Deck list as required by some carriers.
- Retrieving flight plans.
- Obtain new slots in case of delays.
- Work together with OPS to obtain final weights from flight deck for load sheet.
- Responsible to get signed load plan from the ramp supervisor.
- Get a signed NOTOC from the captain.
- Ensure that the flight is in PD mode.
- Create load control file and ensure all documents are filed as required by the check list.
- Make sure that all the flight messages are released as required by the carrier.
- Advise cargo warehouse on cargo off loaded from the flight.
- Send flight stats as required by the carrier.
- Perform any reasonable duties when requested.
- Ensure that all staff comply with all safety and security policies and procedures as safety and security is the responsibility of each employee

- Attending all training required by the company when and where instructed
- Adhering to the company’s disciplinary code
- Ensuring that all information communicated by the company, client and airport authority is read, understood and acknowledged by signature
