Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, versatile, and highly qualified individual to join our team in a multi-faceted role that bridges classroom academics, physical education, and athletic coaching. This unique position is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in a variety of educational settings—from the classroom and the gymnasium to the soccer pitch.
This is a hybrid role combining part-time Classroom Assistant duties, part-time Physical Education (PE) Teaching , and leading our soccer program.
Key Responsibilities
- **Physical Education & Athletic Coaching **
- Deliver high-quality, engaging PE instruction to students, fostering a lifelong love for health, fitness, and movement.
- Lead, design, and execute training sessions and matches for our soccer program.
- Note: This role requires a commitment to coaching sessions and local games that regularly take place outside of standard school hours (such as after-school practices).
- Classroom Assistant
- Provide targeted academic and behavioral support to students within the classroom under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Assist with classroom management, lesson preparation, and small-group interventions.
- Student Transportation
- Safely transport student-athletes and classes to local off-site practices, games, and school events using school vehicles.
**Required Qualifications & Certifications **
Because of the specialized nature of this role, candidates must possess the following credentials at the time of application:
- UEFA C License (or higher) soccer coaching certification (or a recognized equivalent valid for competitive youth coaching).
- Class 4 Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record, enabling the safe operation of school passenger vehicles.
- Demonstrated experience teaching physical education and/or working in a K-12 classroom support setting.
- Current clear Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Screening.

- Exceptional Adaptability: Ability to seamlessly transition from an academic classroom assistant to a high-energy PE instructor, to an athletic coach.
- Schedule Flexibility: Availability to fulfill coaching responsibilities during after-school hours.
- Strong Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrative staff, parents, and student-athletes.
- **Reliability & Safety-Minded: ** A proven track record of maintaining strict safety standards both on the road and on the field.
