Parking Clerk (Term Full-Time)

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated September 2, 2025 up to September 4, 2026)
SALARY: $38,698 - $54,532 per annum
POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES
The Parking Clerk is responsible for following the systems and processes that are fundamental to the Commuting and Parking Office to ensure efficient and effective operations. The position is responsible for providing strong customer service standards to the RRC Polytech community.
The job duties of the Parking Clerk include reviewing daily parking reports to check for parking availability, releasing expired permits, assigning staff parking, processing parking refund requests, invoicing, ensuring that student parking/parking tickets are paid and balanced daily as part of the reconciliation process.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma
- Significant experience providing customer service
- Proficient using Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Superior interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to defuse confrontational situations
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Post Secondary Education Diploma in Business Administration or a related field
- Experience working in a Post-Secondary Institution
- Experience working in the Parking or Transportation industry
- Experience using technology commonly found in operational management settings, including but not limited to business management software, workflow tools and payment systems
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work overtime
- This position may be required to travel
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- Incumbent must hold a valid class 5 driver`s license
